Regarding: COVID-19 Reopening Plan

Calvary Chapel Rialto Christian School is pleased to announce our reopening plan for the 2021-2022 school year. We will begin September 9, 2021, with traditional, on-campus, full-day classroom instruction. We have taken into consideration current conditions and regulations from the CA Department of Public Health (CDPH). The CDPH, “COVID-19 Industry Guidance: Schools and School-Based Programs” (updated January 12, 2022) will guide our plan implementation. Our greatest concern is the safety of our students and staff while remaining true to our mission: 

“To give each child a lifelong passion for Jesus Christ by providing an environment where students can develop emotionally, spiritually, intellectually and physically”. 

These steps will ensure a safe return: 

• We will educate staff, students and parents on current guidelines by providing a CDPH website and a summary of its “Safety Protocols”.  

• We will encourage students to practice healthy hygiene habits like handwashing and sanitizing. 

• We will maintain sanitizing stations near the school entrance and in all classrooms. 

• We will frequently disinfect touched surfaces throughout the day. 

 

We pray these measures give you peace of mind as you consider joining CCRCS for the 2021-2022 school year. We understand things are fluid and may change. If the government mandates school closures due to COVID-19, we will reinstitute remote learning via Microsoft Teams, as we did in Spring 2020. Because this type of instruction requires extensive levels of engagement, tuition will remain the same as on-campus instruction.
